Dedicated conference team
Our dedicated conference and reception team, will provide you with a fabulous service, whatever your requirements are. We work with you from the moment you place your booking to your last delegate leaving, ensuring your event goes smoothly and is a great experience.
Space and flexible layouts
We can accommodate 1-30 delegates, and we will set up the space just as you need it. In fact, from the moment you make your booking we’ll start to tailor the event to your exact requirements. A few days before your event we’ll contact you to ensure there haven’t been any last minute changes.

The full package
Our location makes the Work Village an ideal choice for your event. We are located just outside the city centre, with easy access to the A1 North and South.
Our room rates are extremely competitive, and we include WIFI for you and your guests. We have AV equipment and the usual conference necessities, including our catering packages, offering a comprehensive selection of hot and cold drinks, light snacks, breakfast and lunch menus. More recently we have also hosted virtual training sessions and meetings with delegates or the trainers dialing in from different parts of the UK.

She introduced us to new contacts and networks like Entrepreneurs Forum who were based in Buddle too and whilst we awaited the install of broadband, we were able to use a small office in the Work Village yet continue to run our warehousing and customer service ops from the new larger space. We didn’t last in that space long though as our growth intensified and we then took on a whole floor of space within Buddle House, but even that was straightforward with no barriers put in our way enabling us to respond quickly to the growth in sales.”

What makes us smart is the wrap around service provided here at John Buddle Work Village. We understand the challenges that come with launching, running and growing a business and we’ll help you navigate them whenever you need us.
We’ve been doing this since 2004 and along with our vast amounts of experience and knowledge, we also have access to a large business support network across the region, which we can tap into on your behalf.
We also have a wonderful community. Not only do we have a fantastic team of staff but we’re proud to have a great bunch of existing businesses here who exchange ideas, work together and help each other out.
